Here is a little video of Cambrie smileing and talking to Scott. Can't you just tell she loves her daddy. And it is official, she is one chubby baby. I took her in for her two month check up and she is in the 97% for her weight. I love my chunky babies!!

First smiles

Cambrie has been smiling for a while, but now that her baby acne is gone she looks so darn cute!! Kaiden loves making her smile, especially when she coos back at him (well I think we all love that part). Baby talk is so sweet.

Oops, I uploaded these photos but forgot to finish my post. Life with three kids is great. Cambrie is still the best baby ever and am loving this stage so much for the first time. The boys were so fussy that I couldn't wait for them to grow out of the crying stage, but she doesn't even really cry. She is even sleeping for about 5 hours straight at night, ahhh I love being able to get into a deep sleep. As you can see from the photos she is chunking up just like the boys did.

Connor is such a great big brother and is so sweet to Cambrie

Halloween

The boys had a fun halloween this year. I tried talking Kaiden into being something cute again this year (like a pirate) but he was stuck on being spiderman. So I got him a spiderman costume and he tried it on the week before halloween, and it's a good thing because I grabbed the wrong size and it was way too small but perfect for Connor. So we set out to find another spiderman, but after three stores Kaiden settled for Optimus Prime and loved it. They got to dress up three times... Our ward's Halloween Carnival, Boo at the Zoo, and then Halloween night trick-or-treating. Kaiden was really into trick-or-treating running from house to house, then we would make him wait for Connor to catch up. Anyway, here are some pictures from our fun nights.

Sweet Baby

Cambrie is two weeks old today and she is as sweet as ever. I can not believe what a good baby she is, I have heard about baby's like her but until now I wasn't sure they existed. The only time she really cries is when she is in her car seat, but then she will take a pacifier and be fine. When she wakes up to eat she just fusses until I pick her up. She is awesome at night, just eats, lets me change her diaper and goes right back to sleep. I love to just watch her... she is always looking around and every once in a while I can catch her smiling (I know they aren't real smiles yet but its a fun preview). I love her little hands, she has the longest fingers. I don't know if they just seem long because she always has them open and moving around or if they really are long. When she sleeps she has to have them right by her face, it is so cute. Here are a couple pictures of her with her brothers, who just adore her. Connor is always wanting to know exactly where she is at all times and Kaiden can't get enough of her. For the last few days he has been asking me if she started laughing yet, I think that will be his favorite... he loves making babies laugh.

We blessed Cambrie on Sunday since my family was still here, it was nice to have my brother and Dad be here for that. She did great until right after I got done taking pictures of her in her little dress. She spit up all over it. One of those where they spit up everything they just ate... gross. Anyway I just rinsed it off and you can't even tell. If you look close in the pictures you can see her flaky skin, she is peeling like crazy.

Cambrie Natalia

She is here and she is beautiful... and I am so in love!! Cambrie Natalia Dixon was born at 10:52pm on October 16th weighing 7lbs 12oz and 19.5 inches long. She is the best little baby and is doing great. The boys are just loving their new baby sister, Kaiden thinks she should sleep in his room and he'll come tell me if she wakes up:) Well, here are some pictures of our little girl.

One Week Left

It's official now, if I don't have this baby in the next week (which I am hoping for) I have my induction scheduled for Thurs. Oct. 16th!! I am so ready, but at the same time it's crazy to think in a week (or less) our family will be so different. The boys are very excited, in fact when I told Kaiden I was going to the doctor this week he told me I should have the doctor take the baby out of my tummy. If only it were that easy:) It will be interesting to see how they adjust to a new baby. I set up the bassinet and changing table/dresser and Connor came in my room saying that the baby should come to out house and stay for a while, I told him that the baby would be part of our family and would live at our house and he just said oh, okay.
I did have Scott take some pictures of my belly, it's been almost two months ago though. Maybe I'll have to take some more before she is born.

Swimming lessons and Preschool

For two weeks in August Kaiden did swimming lessons and he loved it!! I was a little worried about how Connor would do having to watch Kaiden and not getting to swim too, but he did great. I think it helped that there was a park right next to the pool and the lessons were only half and hour.

Kaiden started preschool this month too. He was so excited for the first day and thinks his back-pack is the coolest thing ever. When we parked in front of his school he said, "bye mom, see ya later". I said, well I was planning on walking you in - is that ok? Ofcourse he said yes and was just as brave once we got inside, just gave me a little wave and a wink as he went to one of the tables set up in his class.

Lava Hot Springs

Last month we went camping in Lava. I thought I would finally post the pictures:) We went with our neighbors and the boys just loved it. We brought tubes and floated down the little river by our campsite. The tubes were pretty small and Connor and I were the first to try it out, we tipped over within seconds of getting on the tube. Everyone else had troubles too so it wasn't just the big prego lady. Scott decided the tubes needed more air, so we blew them up more. It worked great until Scott sat down with Kaiden and their tube popped (I guess we added a little too much air). Poor Scott had a big red ring around his back and legs.

Next we decided to make it into town and try the bigger faster river. We rented a double tube that had netting on the bottom so the boys couldn't slip through. We walked up to the starting point all excited and then we saw the first drop off... it was big but we thought we would go for it. We made it through, although we did learn that you need to lift your butt up or it gets scraped on the rocks. The next drop wasn't near as big, but I was still nervous about Connor falling out so I was holding onto him with both hands. We went down with the tube just fine but then all of a sudden Connor and I just popped out. Since I was only holding onto Connor we didn't stay with the tube. The water wasn't even to my waist so it was easy to get back in, but we had a crowd watching us (just a little embarrassing). The rest of our float was a blast, Kaiden was laughing hysterically the whole time. I could tell on Connor's face he wasn't too sure what to think (can't really blame him after falling out of the tube) but he was laughing right along with Kaiden. It was quite the adventure!!

We had dinner in town after tubing and then headed back to the campsite. We had a fun night playing games and then got settled in our tent for the night. I bought the boys flashlights so they played with those for a while and then we all fell asleep. Until about 4:30 in the morning when a rooster at our campground started crowing every 15 min. until about 7 (when we decided to get up anyway). The boys slept right through it, but it even kept Scott up (I didn't know of anything that could do that). At one point he said he wished he had a gun so he could go shoot it:) We had breakfast then stopped by a park until the pool opened. Then we spent most of the day swimming and going down water slides. By the time we headed home the boys were pooped, but we stopped for ice cream anyway!!

My New Camera

I thought I would post some pictures from my new camera. Scott bought it for me for my birthday and I LOVE it (thanks honey)!! I'm still trying to figure some things out, but it is so much fun:) I took these one afternoon after Kaiden had been swimming at the neighbors and Connor just woke up from a nap. A perfect summer afternoon always needs a popsicle.

Can't you just tell this boy loves popsicles??

How can you not smile when you see this face??

Chukars Game

The Chukars game was a blast!! The boys did good watching the game the first half, luckily after that they had "noni" there to spoil them with ice cream and snacks. They also had fun going over to "Charlie Chukar" (the teams mascot) giving him hugs and high fives. Kaiden got both of his hands signed as well as the pennant that was the free give away that night. I asked Kaiden as we were leaving what his favorite part was and he said running the bases. When the game is over they let all of the kids go out on the field and run the bases, even Connor went out. It was so funny to see him run as fast as his little feet would carry him to keep up with the big kids.

Heise

Here are some pictures from our day at Heise Hot Springs. Scott took the day off so we headed up early and got a lot of swimming in. They have a big deep end so we put Kaiden in his "floating" suit and rented Connor a life vest, this made our life much easier. Mallory let Kaiden wear her swim goggles and he looked hillarious:) The boys both went down the water slide and we had to drag them out of the pool when it was time to go.
